This is one of the most beautiful mixing bowl in the folk art style I have ever seen. The yellows, and blues and reds are just stunning, almost like it was a cheetha fur. It was hand thrown and has survived all these years intact.
These are items I have found in antique stores, garage sales and thrift stores over last 30 years. The photo I use is by Charles Spencelayt called, "The Antique Shop." Of the many photo I have and could have used for my heading, this one depicts me and the life I have led. For like the shop owner, I collect everything and anything and the only thing that separates me from the painting is the distance of time
