Lt Col F.D. Leder, USMC was commander of the 2/5 in Vietnam from January 14, 1970 to May 16, 1970. He kept a log where he wrote into it each day, mainly in military jargon. I will try and list this entire log to give an insight of the problems officers had to content and confront daily. The area of his command was An Hoc, Quang Nam Province.
I will be adding many pictures from the Kontom, Pleiku and other areas. So check back periodically

How can I see this diary. I am currently investigation an event on 2 February 1970 in which two Marines were killed and 10 wounded by friendly fire. Col Leder's notes would be infinitely helpful.
Lt. Col. V. K. Inman, USMC Ret.
